Loading starts tomorrow!

I'm up a pound again today. I ate late last night and am sure if I could've gotten another hour or so of sleep I'd probably be down 1 more pound thus the same as yesterday morning. Tomorrow is load day so I'm not gonna fret about it. I started my list of goals and do's/don'ts.

I'll be preparing my mix tonight. I'll be mixing the hCG with 3 ml of Colloidal Silver and 12 ml of B-12. I hope that is the correct ratio. The video I've been waiting on hasn't been posted so I'm using another youtuber's mixing instructions. I'm sure it'll work fine. That's 15 ml of mix that will last 15 days. 1/2 ml in morning and 1/2 ml in evening. I still need to get a 1 ml dosing syringe. I have already portioned out some protein and will probably go shopping at Trader Joe's on Sunday for my fruits and veggies. I also already have a box of grissini and my Wasa bread/cracker.

I am soooooo looking forward to my day trip tomorrow with my BFF. We take this day trip every so often and have actually planned it twice already and couldn't go because of either my work or hers. I'm so happy this time it worked out. We have had it planned since May. Just the girls for a day doing whatever, drinking our tropical drinks, and just being silly.  :)

Life is a never ending lesson. Just when you think you have it figured out, you have to relearn it!!! It keeps the brain in check right?!!!

Make it a good day!!:)

Loading begins in 3 days!!!

Sunrise - A new beginning everyday
I begin loading in 3 days! I'm so excited. I am doing a 3 day load this time. No reason other than it seemed logical to me. I have a day trip on Friday with my BFF, a going away party on Saturday, and a promise to my hubby to go out to our favorite breakfast spot on Sunday. I'm not sure if I can take 3 full days of loading but we'll see.

Ha! I cannot believe it!! Okay, so last round I ordered a pair of jeans, size 18 (used to be 22), and they are too big but I dealt with it. I just received my order from Old Navy and ordered one size 16 and a couple size 14s with the confidence that I will easily fit into them at least half way into the next round. I've never had that much confidence in any diet I've ever tried. The size 16 fits perfectly and just for the heck of it I tried on the size 14 and... I could actually zip them up!! I couldn't believe it. Now, they are still a bit snug and I wouldn't wear them in public quite yet, but I'm thinking I might actually get to a size 12 when this round is over! I don't think my husband has ever seen me in a size 12. I'm sure I was at least a size 14 when we met. (Can't really remember... getting old ;)) I love hCG and what it has done for me. Not just aesthetically but my health has improved, confidence is up, and I just feel better all around.

To make my next round a success, I will outline my goals and things I will do differently. This will give me something to refer to on those more challenging days when life happens or stalls occur. hCG can only do so much, the rest is up to me. I do not want to have to do this again. Strike that. I will not allow myself to be in this situation ever again. The fat I release will be forever!

Make it a good day.:)

7/25 - Steak Day...

It happened once again. Gained 3 pounds in one night. How does this happen??? Whatever. I'm so done with P3/P4 for this round. I start the round 3 next week and I cannot wait!. My goal for round three is to release 30 pounds.

Happy hump day!

I'm up a pound today. I feel bloated. Yuck! Sometimes it sucks being a girl. Hubby is so sweet. He always wishes he could take it all away. He is probably the only guy I've ever known to be considerate and understanding with what I go through. Some months are tougher than others and on the tough months, he takes a lot and still loves me with all his heart and soul. He's the best!

I now only have 8 more days to go! I cannot "weight"... I mean wait! :) I can tell that I have not enjoyed P3/P4 as much this time because I was not this ready before the last round. I was excited about dropping the pounds but wasn't 100% ready to give my variety of foods. I was sad not to have cauliflower crust pizza, oh and my eggs. Love eggs. But this time, I am so ready. I will still miss my eggs but they'll be back soon enough.

I finally got my side by side by side picture put together and posted. I'll do a new before for Round 3. I think I'll also try a new outfit for the picture because, bummer, the shirt is kinda just hanging there and it might not show the slimming effects after the next round. :)

Have a fab day!

9 days and counting...

I'm getting so excited! Only 9 more days until I start loading and on to more fat expulsion!! :) My steak day released 2 pounds as usual. Hope it keeps. TOM is here now and I'm sure he played a part in my ups and downs on the scale and emotionally. It's been a really tough couple of days that had nothing to do with the scale b/c I really didn't even care what it said. I expected it. Too personal to really go into, I just hope it is over and can move on.

I'm still kind of nervous mixing my own sub-lingual. It seems to be easy enough. Although I still have thoughts of screwing it up some how. It's all good. I was nervous the first time for any of it.

Things have been keeping me busy at work. I love how people think their project is the only one you're working on and give you unreasonable deadlines. At least it makes the days go by faster.

Got my hair cut today . (No the pic is not my new cut. It was taken a couple of days ago.) My hair stylist was impressed with how much weight I've "lost". She asked how I did it. I told her "Well, I did something a bit controversial." and she says "hCG?" I'm like "Yeah!" A couple of the other stylists are/have tried it. I don't usually tell people but I'm opening up more with it. It amazes me how many people know about this now and when I started, no one had heard of it. AMAZING!!!

Have a fab one!

Monday = Steak Day

Well, it's Monday and yes, it's steak day again. I had a few P4 foods over the weekend and up 2 pounds. That's okay though. I've been mentally/emotionally over the board this weekend. Had some beer Friday and Saturday night, had a French dip from Lion's Choice yesterday (took off half the bread. It actually didn't even taste very good to me.), and I had a blackened chicken sandwich w/o bread @ Malone's and I swear there was sugar in the seasoning. So, although I'm not happy about the gain, it's not like I didn't really expect it. I only have 12 days until load day 1 of round 3. Spending the first load day with my BFF and a friend who I haven't seen much over the years. We're going to our fave place called Trops and Sub Shoppe. It's about an hour and a half trip. Just a day with the girls! :)

A while ago I mentioned that my brother was doing the protocol so I thought I'd give an update. He released over 20 lbs (can't remember exactly) and is over a week into P3 and has been maintaining beautifully. I'm am so excited for him. I was worried he would have the same problems I'm having with maintaining. I'm so glad he is not. Also, I found out that my Aunt had heard about hCG and is going to start when she returns from vacation. It is so cool that the word is getting out there. The only bad thing is that when evil people see an opportunity to get money from the desperate, they'll totally take advantage of it. We'll start seeing fake products on the market and then hCG will get a bad name. Just be careful who you buy from and the power of word of mouth.

I heart Saturdays!

When you have a M - F job, Saturdays are the best day of the week! You stay up late on Friday, get to sleep in on Saturday and you still have another day off. It doesn't get any better than that! :) Unfortunately for my hubby, he has to work today.

Well, last night we went out to dinner with some friends. It's the first time I've been out to eat since May when round 2 started. I was determined to have a great time and put away all my worries about not stabilizing. I figured I am supposed to be on P4 and I haven't even tried anything P4ish. I skipped the bread only because even though you think something called Grilled Chicken with stuffed portabella and not mention of breading in the description probably has some kind of sugar or starch somewhere in it. I also skipped the croutons in my salad. It was actually a really good dinner. As usual, I already had the wheels spinning on how I could make it at home but better. :) I also had a couple of beers but backed it with water so I wouldn't go overboard. We all had a great time both my BFF and her husband gasped when I walked in saying how great I look. I haven't seen my BFF since probably mid may and I haven't seen her hubby probably since New Years. It was an awesome feeling! It made me feel good about myself.

This morning when I woke up I laid in bed thinking about the doom of the scale. As I was laying there (or is it lying there? I can never remember...lol), I felt like it was actually going to be okay. It's weird how in tune with your body you get through the hCG journey. I just felt like the scale would be close or better than what it was the day before and I was right! I am actually down 0.6 pounds! How great is that! I know, I'm still 2.8 above but is a 2 pound limit really enough, especially for us girls when sometimes my weight can fluctuate up to 4 pounds in a day just depending on my cycle. Also, someone told me our intestines can hold up to 2 pounds of "stuff" at any time as well. Mental health is just as important on this journey and if I need to say my upper limit is 5 pounds over to keep my sanity, so be it.

I have a moving sale to go to and then some errands. Have a great one and I'll be back if anything exciting happens. :)

Have a fab day!!

The cycle starts again...

Phase 3 this round has not been nice to me. I have had such a difficult time keeping within the 2 lb rule. When I do a steak day, they work like a charm. 2 - 3 lbs drop over night and I feel great. Next day I'm either up a little or stay the same. 3 days after steak day, BOOM, I'm up 2 or more pounds. It happens every time. I don't get it. I have not eaten any sugars or starches.

Yesterday was day 2 after steak day and I was the same as I was the day after. I weighed myself when I got home from work (no scolding please. I know you shouldn't weigh yourself throughout the day.) and I was only 0.2 over what I was in the morning. Thought I might've finally figured this out right before moving into P4. I fixed and ate dinner, went on about my evening as usual, and yes, I weighed myself before I went bed and I thought I was going to cry. I had gained 4 pounds in 5 hours. Well, I know my body pretty well and know that I'm usually 2 - 3 pounds less in the morning from the previous night's weight. Sure enough, when I weighed myself in the morning I was 1.6 lbs more than the previous morning.

I am now 3.8 pounds over LDW. I would be happy if I would just stabilize somewhere. I'm tired of steak days. If history repeats itself, I'll be slightly up tomorrow and the next day and so on until I do another steak day. It is a vicious cycle I'd like to get out of. I even tried digestive enzymes and thought it was working until today's gain. I just hope my inability to stabilize doesn't affect Round 3.

Theories:
1. My weight after my last dose is a few pounds below a weight I carried for a few years about 5 or 6 years ago. Maybe I didn't get far enough away from it that my body keeps trying to creep back up to that spot???

2. TOM came to town at the end and my weight gets whacky around that time. Prior to hCG my weight would drop 2 - 3 pounds, then suddenly up 4, then down again. Maybe I'm trying to stabilize and a false weight reading???

I just can't figure it out. I have had so many wonderful people offer suggestions and support. Some I have followed through with; some are still under advisement. All of it is appreciated. I try not to let it get me down and I was successful for a bit. Today, it's just getting to me...

I still am thankful for what I have accomplished and for what I have. Sometimes it just feels good to whine. :)

Still trying to figure it out...

It's been a while since I posted anything. I've just been struggling with stabilizing and got tired of hearing myself whine about it. It is just so frustrating to do so well during P2 and knowing that P3 in round one was such a breeze. I'm supposed to start P4 on Thursday and am not really ready for it. I might try to add some starches, but will try to stay away from the sugars still. I have actually been in a great mood the last couple of days and with the help of digestive enzymes, cayenne pepper capsules, and a modified steak day, I'm down to 214.2, which is 2.2 over. Considering I have been 4 or more lbs over for the past week, I'll take it. I have to say the steak/high protein days definitely work, but how do you keep it off??? That's where I have problems. 17 days until I'm on the juice again.

I'm thinking the digestive enzymes are helping. I started releasing instead of gaining from day one of taking them. That's why I decided to do a high protein day to see if I could release a couple of pounds and then try to maintain it. It's all a learning experience and figuring out what works for you. Not everyone is the same.

A new outlook!

I have decided to no longer allow the scale determine my mood for the day. Am I still over my LDW? Yes. Am I really close to a steak day based on P&I? Yes. That is okay with me. It seems my body wants to stay around 214 for now. I'm tired of being depressed about it. I would much rather be a happy person.

Yesterday I did a Jillian Michaels workout DVD. It has been since the last P3 since I exercised to it. The workout was challenging this first time out in months, but it seemed easier than it was 56 pounds ago when I first worked out to it. I felt GREAT afterward. My mood lifted and all was well with the world. It even carried over to this morning even after getting on the scale and seeing a 0.8 lb gain. Hubby thought I had lost weight because I was in such a great mood. I'm good at knowing that I have not gone outside of P3 foods and it will be what it will be.

I need to focus on other health issues that are rearing their heads right now and get more fiber in my system. I certainly don't need to be on bed rest, drugged with pain medications, and super duper antibiotics right now. That is my focus along with my mental state.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!  :)

R2P3D14 - 2 weeks P3

The end of today will mark 2 complete weeks on P3. A disastrous P3 it has been so far. Steak day worked. I'm down 2.6 and only 1.0 over LDW. I would normally be excited but I already feel fat today. I'm getting plenty of water and will make sure I am eating enough calories.

Copy of what I enter in http://www.medhelp.org in the food log.

Not all quantities are exact. I usually round up if I don't measure.

R2P3D12

Up again today. I ate late and didn't get much sleep. We didn't get home until like 2:30 a.m. from the surprise b-day/4th of July party we went to. It was great to see people who we haven't seen in a few years. I got so many compliments and people asking what I've been doing. "You look great!" I just love hearing it. I've been kind of down because of problems with stabilizing so that helped my self esteem a lot. It was a good time. They pretty much didn't have much for P3 foods. I did have a piece of the fried chicken but took off the flour crust. I've been doing well with bringing my own food. I usually make some meatballs and chicken and then bring cut up veggies. I made a "sweet" almond/coconut/macadamia nut mix. It was a little weird tasting. I think I put too much sweetener (stevia) in it. I ate it anyway! It was good enough to eat and you get used to it. I ate the rest of it today.

Got a late start to the day. Made some oopsie rolls a few days ago and used two of them to make my cheeseburger. Hubby got a plain burger for me from Culver's. Ditched the bread added my own cheese and mayo and mustard. It was pretty good. Also had a few leftover meatballs, an egg, chicken andouille sausage and an awesome salad with my homemade Blue Cheese Dressing.

Nothing much happening today. Until tomorrow... :)

R2P3D11 - Happy 4th of July!!!

I changed my background again. I was trying to find something that resembles fireworks and this is the best I can find so far. Well, I am down to 212.6 after my "Steak" day. I can only take it one day at a time to see where it takes me. I just have to remember that I am 40 lbs less than I was this time last year...Heck I'm 40 pounds less than i was just March 1 of this year. I will be happy if I can keep it under 215 until 7/30 when I start my next round.

Breakfast
Bacon and scrambled eggs (hubby made eggs) and Starbucks coffee. Oh and I made the oopsie rolls last night and tried one this morning. Not bad for a bread substitute but still not the same as bread.

R2P3D10

My strategy... I'm struggling getting back to or  even close to maintenance weight. I have consistently been 2.2 - 2.4 pounds over for 3 days in a row. First, I'm adjusting my last weigh to 212 only because it is easier for me to calculate in my head when weighing. It is only .2 above actual. Two, I am doing a modified steak and cheese day. I had a chicken breast with cheese for lunch and I plan on having a steak with cheese for dinner. Three, I will decide my go forward fate for the rest of P3 in the morning. This whole thing is a mind game and is really eating away at me. I've been consistently in the 214's. Is my body trying to tell me this is where it wants to stabilize for now? Would it really be such a bad place to accept? If that's what my body wants and it'll help me relax a little and get over this obsession, then that is what I will do. I will make the determination tomorrow.

Happy 4th weekend everyone!!

R2P3D8

Oh my! The scale was not nice to me at all and not really sure WTH. Time to figure this out before getting out of hand. I know I should do a steak day but I just did one on Monday. I'm going to try high protein and see where that gets me. If I'm still having problems tomorrow morning, then I'll do a steak day tomorrow. I also have 3 days of food stuck in my digestive system... Nice way of saying I haven't pooed in three days. It doesn't bother me as much when I have this issue on P2 because your not eating much to warrant it. But I got a lot to get rid of because I can feel the bloat. I did measure my gut and hips and those were the same. I just need to get this figured out.

Here are some possible culprits: Peppers - they're higher in sugar than other veggies (I think) Had some both Tuesday and Wednesday; I bought some organic coconut peanut butter and tried that yesterday and Tuesday. I made a tomato, cucumber, string cheese, and basil salad with balsamic vinegar (probably not a good idea on the balsamic vinegar); Other things I had I have had during R1P3 with no problems: egg, egg white, & cheese; Buffalo chicken; salad with homemade Mayfair dressing. I also test tasted my tuna salad. That's all I can think of. Today I will list everything I eat and see how it goes on the scale tomorrow.

Breakfast
Egg Salad
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 TBS Mayo
  • Drizzle of Franks
Lunch
Tuna Salad
  • Tuna
  • Celery
  • Mayo
  • Egg
  • Dill Relish
  • Onion
Dinner
Tuna Salad - Same ingredients as lunch

  • Chipotle Cheese
  • Spinach with bacon (sugar free) - this usually helps get the intestines moving. :)
  • laughing cow cheese in the spinach

R2P3D7

I received good news yesterday. My lipid numbers are within normal range! I'm stoked to hear it. Maybe I can get off the meds soon. It's kind of funny that by using hCG for weight loss my lipid numbers have been reduced yet hCG is not approved for weight loss. Something that actually works for people and that could resolve a lot of health issues it not good enough for the government to approve. Makes me wonder... I have a ton of theories that I'll keep to myself for now.

Today I'm up 0.6... no big whoop. I had a lot of peppers yesterday and they are kind higher in sugars so that could've been the culprit. I am not worried with 0.6 over LDW though. Still doing well and feel great.

R2P3D6

It's been a few days since I posted anything. Hubby, boo boo girl, and I went to KC for the weekend with a group of people. I planned ahead by making a bunch of chicken nuggets, meatballs, cut-up veggies, and brought some chicken sausages I picked up at Costco with 0 sugar. I did not stray from eating only what I brought. I believe I had two negatives against me. 1. TOM was about ready to visit 2. My love for beer and total distaste for light beer. I had a few beers all full flavored and full calories. I love Witte beers and my hubby's homebrew.

I did bring the scale to keep up with my weigh ins. (Hubby thought I was crazy...) Saturday morning I was fine weighing in at LDW. (I did have a few beers Friday night.) I was thrilled. So, I continued doing well with what I ate, but drank even more beer Saturday night. Then woke up in the middle of the night with a visit from TOM. When I weighed Sunday morning, I was exactly 2 pounds over. Ugh! Not quite over 2 pounds (I think I remember steak day is a must if it is over 2 not @ 2 pounds...) So, I tried eating high protein, which is difficult when traveling and thought I did pretty well considering. But low and behold, Monday morning's weigh-in was 2.2 pounds over. I'm certain TOM played a hand in it but I know I had beer and really shouldn't have. Yesterday was a steak day for me. It was my first real steak day. Last round I was able to avoid it with high protein days or doing a steak and cheese day. Steak days are not fun. I hate not eating anything all day. My stomach ached for most of the day because I still had my coffee and nothing to absorb it. However, I now know that it works! I am back to LDW on the nose! I am pleased about that and I got to have my eggs for breakfast and I get to have my buffalo chicken for lunch!! To top it off, it made for a happier Kym and my hubby is happier now too! (as he always says "A happy wife is a happy life!")

R2P3D1

Had to have some blood drawn for my lipid test. Had to skip the coffee and food while at home...Had to wait and that was painful since I cooked the omelet before I left...
Breakfast (349)
  • 1 egg + 3 egg whites omelet with chipotle jack cheese and onions
  • Omelet cooked in coconut oil with a touch of butter
  • Coffee
Lunch (374)
  • Tuna salad with celery, onion, and relish. I used homemade mayonnaise. The relish was a mix of pickles, olives, and banana peppers. I usually add capers but forgot...
  • Tomato
Snack (119)
  • Cucumber and Mayfair Dressing
Dinner - Chicken, salad, cucumber
I think I'm just going to go with the flow on this. I'm staying away from starches and sugars. In P&I, Dr. Simeons didn't specify how many calories should be eaten. I'm just going to keep an eye on the foods and the outcome. Counting calories is for the birds, especially when you're not losing. There'll be time for that during the next round. (My hCG is in customs! At least it made it to the USA :))
