I'm back!!

It's been a very long time since I've been here. A lot has happened since November. The biggest blow was the death of my father on January 2nd. It was sudden. He went in the hospital because of low blood sugar, ended up with a lung infection, on a respirator, then a dialysis machine, and we had to make the toughest decision of our lives. It's been 6 months and still I sometimes cry hysterically because I miss him so much. I have had so much going on since he's been gone and just want to talk to him about it and get his advice.

Now that things have slowed a bit, I decided to do another round. I am actually doing it with a partner this time. It makes it a little easier. I wish I didn't need to but I let myself go and blame it on all the stress and just plain not caring. I still think that I did well maintaining at 5 - 10 pounds over with everything that happened. I then decided to start working out with weights and immediately gained another 5 pounds. After that, it just kept creeping up and right before I decided to do another round it jumped. I was right at 30 pounds over when starting this round.

I am on day 4 of VLCD.  I gained 2.8 loading so that's gone and then released 7.4 pounds from pre-load weight. I always hate that you don't use your weight as of day 1 of VLCD as your begin date. Then I could say I've lost 10.2 pounds. :) I do have a concern with my hCG. I bought it last year. The expiration date is good until 2012 and I kept it stored in the refrigerator. After mixing it, I tested it using an hCG tester strip and it did not show positive. I mixed it with B-12 and Colloidal Silver. Some people say that B-12 can cause a false negative. I don't know. I'm still losing, but when you don't eat hardly anything it's bound to happen. So, I don't know. I'm continuing on with what I have and keeping aware of how I'm feeling. Your body can only withstand so many days of 500 or less calories without hCG supplementing it. If anyone out there has the answer, please let me know. I haven't had any headaches but I have had a couple of times that I didn't feel so "with it". It could be in my head though. This whole thing is a mind game anyway...

Another thing I'm doing differently this time is that I am keeping up with my exercising. I worked out Monday and Tuesday and plan on it tonight. I do weights and/or Elliptical. I haven't exercised in the past while on hCG and when I start up afterward, I always seem to gain an outrageous amount so I thought this time I'll exercise while on it and maybe it won't be so bad after.
